Our Basement!

After 3 years, several contractors, plumbers, basement specialists, and cement specialists . . . We finally know what to do! Because our cement was poured on sand instead of gravel, we now have a bacteria in the cement. We will have to chip out all of the cement in the east side of our basement, and remove 12" below. We will refill with gravel and repour the cement. HARD WORK! We started chipping the cement out on Monday and we are hoping to have most of the basement finished before school starts. I can't even imagine what it will be like to not have to dust everyday!
